Billy, Joe, Sean and Greg getting the fire going to make Smores. You can see the meat pole off to the left.
Meat pole all concreted in and setting up. Still need to work on the supports for the uprights. They will be a
couple of 2x6 treated board boxes about 4 feet long, 4 inches wide and 6 inches deep, bolted to each side
of the uprights at ground level and filled with concrete for more stability. That's for next trip.
The screws holding the metal door on the gas bottle storage were getting stripped out from use. Mike, Joe and Billy
worked on putting hinges and a hasp on the door. They went to town for the hardware. The door works much better now.
Mike placed metal trim all around the camp under the edge of the wooden siding and caulked it in.
A good job for a project long over due. Hopefully this will cut down on the number of "visitors" we
get sneaking under the siding.
The new generator in place. We changed the oil to full synthetic this trip. Should be good to go until next spring.
(note- This thing died an early death)
Two Laslo's chillin out on Sunday AM just before departure time.
Chuck making a pit stop before his departure.
I put a funnel type section on the feed end to the ram pump to get more water in. I put some screen on the pipe end to keep leaves and salamanders out.
