Quick Food

Guys
who show up on Thursday are on their own for food that day and Friday
breakfast and lunch.
As I get more emails I'll add
stuff, looks like were covered for all meals. Of course we'll
probably have too much food anyway!
Looks
like nearly everyone is coming in on Friday

Follow up report - No
pictures this trip again - Rich and Tom came in on Thursday. I
got there late morning Friday then Mike, Charlie, Joe, Sean and
Bill came at various times that after noon.
The weather was comfortable,
we all dreading extreme hot temps but they didn't happen. We ran
some battery powered fan at night to blow thru the upstairs and
that was enough even though several of us brought AC fans
thinking we might have to run the generator all night.
Rich brought his Yamaha 2000
watt generator and it ran when we needed power except Sunday
morning we ran Mikes Honda to allow Rich to load a cool
generator in his car.
I ran my sickle bar cutter
all around the camp and a little along the road. I did some
Friday and lost a bolt on the end guard and quit for the day.
Saturday Mike and Bill went to the hard ware to pick up a new
mower Bill had them hold for him. He got me a couple extra bolts
to re-attach the end guard on the cutter and I ran it a few more
hours clearing the excess brush around the camp. I'll bring it
again in the spring when the stuff starts to sprout and chew it
down again.
A couple of the guys rains
the new mower and cut the regular "grass" around the camp.
It looks like the end of an
era at camp. The 2 gas wells they drilled over off Panther Road
now are finished but they each have a large steel pipe spewing
out burning excess gas 40 feet into the air. It sounds like a
jet engine and lights up the sky at night. No more quiet nights
and sky full of stars.
