New garage Project - Three Phases - This replaced the 12x16 wooden "barn" I used for a shop and bike parking. These files are on the "new" section of the web page. Go to this link to see them, New Garage . Lots of construction involved so it may not interest too many, but after wrenching in the 12x16 Barn for over 10 years this is a welcome upgrade!

Motorcycle Jack _ I got this at Costco. No pictures yet.  I first modified and used it in my small building to lift and turn the bike after I dumped the Carousel (see below). Since moving into the big garage I took the extra casters off. These allowed me to push it in any direction.

Clutch Holder _ How I modified a pair of Vice Grips® to hold the clutch while removing the big nut.

$Cheap Concours Mirrors?? _ A a pair of Emgo mirrors modified to replace the crummy stock '86 mirrors which had a tendency to flop loose. Some people have commented these look "odd" but I don't give a crap, it works for me.

Valve Tool _After several sessions of adjusting the valves with a wrench and screwdriver, I had to make this tool .

Harbor Freight Wheel Changer _I purchased one of these several years ago and modified it for my motorcycle wheels. I recently bought the motorcycle wheel adapter and un-modified the base changer. I had to cut and reweld the bracket for the "L" shaped support arm because it was welded at an angle. See photos.

New way for Wheel Balancing _ Then I saw a balancer on a web site some where and built my own version just for the Concours wheels

My Bike Modifications _Many modifications later the bike is more enjoyable to ride. I'm a little behind on posting some photos, other things have gotten in the way.

A Thumbnail listing of all the photos in the COG section

Carousel for Concours _Project to build a rotating platform for a small parking space in a 12x16 foot wooden "barn"..

Old way for Wheel Balancing _I used to balance my own wheels by following the manual and using this method - really simple.

Recycle your Bike! _Saw this ad in a local paper one year.
